I wanted to read more about Hunger in the US. We are always hearing about how "we" can help other nations and their hungry. It is rare that you hear about those in our "backyard".

A super simple way to help, as we do our school shopping this year, is to put together a few extra school supplies in a kit for children here at home or in another country. Seems pretty easy to throw a couple extra boxes of crayons in your cart, doesn't it.

The greatest thing about doing these giveaways was to see that even though we know that there are people starving all over the world, we tend to forget that when we live out daily lives. This was a great way for those of us to know that even though we know they are starving there is a lot more behind the scenes and it doesn't take much to make a difference. I hope you all will join in again in the next giveaways to help fight world hunger.
